Christmas Project for Women’s Prison

Volunteers from multiple ministries and churches are working together to develop the annual toiletry bag for women in the prison to receive a Christmas Gift Bag in December 2024.

This project will minister and bless everyone, as many women in prison are without a family support system, and may have no one to help them with these things. Our hope is for each woman to know they are loved, and not forgotten. Ultimately, we want them to see the love of Jesus Christ, through the ministry of this service project.

Items needed for the Gift Bags:

We are asking for 950 of each item on the list below to ensure each woman is provided for. Our bags need to be the same type of item for everyone, so no one will be left out. Brand variation is fine on conditioners, lotion, and deodorant. Socks must all be the same. The donations will be collected at Bethel Worship Center, just one mile from Tutwiler.

Deodorant (any brand, any scent, no sprays or roll-ons)

Hair Conditioner (full size bottle)

White Socks (Fruit of the Loom Cushion Everyday Crew Socks for women, 10-pack) *must be all white

Lotion (full size bottles or tubes)

Gift Cards (will be used to purchase needed items)

*Donations can be made online to BETHEL WORSHP CENTER. They are tax deductible and 100% of donations will go to the Christmas project.

(If you give to me here online, I can accept them and make sure they go to the project, however, they won’t be tax deductible.)
